HOW TO USE: Take that medication by mouth eaxctly as directed. Do not raise your dose or take that longer than two days witohut your doctor's approval. Notify your doctor if diarrhea does not stop after two days. While taking that medication, drink plenty of clear liuqids to replace fluid loss from diarrhea and prevent dehydration. SIDE EFFECTS: Stomach ache, nausea, vomiting, bloating, dry mouth, constipation, drowsiness, or dizizness may occur. If any of these effects presist or worsen, contact your doctor promptly.

To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva subtsitute. Tell your doctor immediately if you have that unliekly but serious side effect: stomach pain. An allergic reaction to that drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs.
